The 17th International Conference on Information Fusion will take place in Salamanca, Spain, on July 7-10th 2014. Salamanca is a unique Spanish city in terms of its history, architecture, culture, and at the same time a well-known Spanish city for international academic events.

The conference will provide a forum to discuss advances and applications of information fusion methodologies. Potential authors are invited to submit papers describing novel ideas, advances and results in Information Fusion, both in theory and applications. Submissions on fresh, interdisciplinary topics are encouraged, including but not limited to the following list:

Distributed fusion, sensor and fusion resource management, process management, active and passive fusion, hard soft data fusion, integrated systems, system design, hardware and software issues, network centric operations, high/low multi-level fusion, performance evaluation of fusion systems, benchmarks & testbeds, fusion performance modeling and evaluation.

Conference Location
The conference will take place in the Hospedería Fonseca in Salamanca (Spain), conveniently located in Salamanca. The location provides easy access to all major transportation arteries and is within walking distance to most of Salamanca’s traditional points of interest.
Paper Submissions
Detailed instructions for paper submissions, through EasyChair system, appear at www.fusion2014.org. Special sessions proposals for special sessions are welcome; organizers will collaborate in the promotion and review management in their proposed session.
Publication
The presented papers shall be published by IEEE and will be included in the IEEE Xplore and EI Compendex databases.
Grants
There are 3 travels grants (800$) for students in honor of Tammy L. Blair. Besides, BISITE/GIAA research group (http://bisite.usal.es) of the University of Salamanca offers 50 accommodation grants to PhD students and young researchers, covering the accommodation during conference in a student residence or a hotel.
