The School of Aeronautics and Astronautics held a sharing session on the application experience of the overseas study program

On February 26, 2021, The School of Aeronautics and Astronautics(SAA) held a sharing session on the application experience of China Scholarship Council’s study-abroad funding projects. This sharing session introduced the application materials for the 2018 SJTU-MAI Dual-Degree Bachelor Program(DBP), and the 2020 SJTU-MAI Dual-Degree Master Program(DMP), combining with the problems and experiences encountered in the application process of previous students, and the issues that students are concerned about.

At the beginning of the session, Ms. Gao Shan from the Internationalization Office introduced two projects to the students, namely the "Promoting International Cooperation and Training Projects with Russia, Ukraine and Belarus" and the "The Professionals Training Program in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus". Then she gave detailed explanations for different selection categories and related precautions.

Two students Mao Yuhe and Zhou Zhiwei of 2019DMP respectively showed the online application process on the official website of the China Scholarship Council(CSC) and the online application process of the overseas study program of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Regarding the questions asked by the students, especially about the preparation of application materials and filling in online applications, the teachers of the Internationalization Office and senior students answered questions on the spot to the students. They focused on the precautions, shared practical experience, and provided great help to the students in applying for the national funding this year.

Ever since the MAI-SJTU project established, the CSC has spared no effort to support students in SJTU to study in Russia.
