Associate Professor Hong Haichao has been invited to serve as an Associate Editor for IEEE TAES

        Associate Professor Hong Haichao from SAA has accepted an invitation from the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems (IEEE TAES) to take on the role of Associate Editor starting from June 2024. In this capacity, he will be responsible for the review of papers in the field of Autonomous Systems.

 

 

        The IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems is a high-level journal in the T1 category of aerospace disciplines and ranks in the first quartile of the Journal Citation Reports (JCR). In recent years, the young faculty of our school have actively participated in international scientific research cooperation and exchanges, gradually enhancing their research capabilities and academic influence. In 2020, Associate Professor Yang Rong from our school was invited to serve as an Associate Editor for the journal and has since received affirmation from peers both domestically and internationally.

 

        Hong Haichao is a tenured associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics. His research primarily focuses on flight dynamics and trajectory optimization for large aircraft and eVTOL aircraft as part of the aviation transportation system. He has published over 40 papers, including 15 in the top-tier journal IEEE TAES and AIAA JGCD, with one paper selected as a cover article for CJA. He has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the German Research Foundation, and the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. He currently serves as the Associate Editor for the SCI journal IEEE TAES, an editorial board member for the EI journal Aerospace Systems, and a member of the AIAA GNC Technical Committee.
