On the morning of September 25, under the guidance of the school's Employment Center, the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics successfully hosted the 2025 Graduates National Key Industry Recruitment Job Fair - Aerospace Special, which was held in Area D on the second floor of the Student Center.
In order to ensure the smooth progress of the job fair, the college has made careful planning and preparation. This job fair invited 47 units in the aerospace field, including the Strategic Support Force, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the Eighth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology, and the Ninth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology.
Hu Shiqiang, Executive Vice President of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, had in-depth exchanges with employers, learned in detail about the employment needs and recruitment situation of the participating units, and emphasized the importance of strengthening contact and communication with employers to promote the employment of graduates. They encouraged the students who came to apply for jobs to seize the opportunity, improve their professional qualities, and actively respond to market demand. Hu Shiqiang had cordial exchanges with the alumni of the college who came to the recruitment site, cared about the growth and development of alumni in the company, and encouraged alumni to return to school to give lectures and play a peer leadership role.
The atmosphere at the job fair was lively and enthusiastic. Students actively submitted their resumes and conducted in-depth discussions with the participating companies. The participating companies spoke highly of the quality of students' training at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, believing that the students were hard-working, adaptable, and had high comprehensive qualities. Among them, AECC, COMAC Shanghai Flight Academy, COMAC Composites Center, CRRC Zhuzhou Institute and COMAC Times also attached great importance to this recruitment, optimized the recruitment process, and organized multiple departments to conduct on-site recruitment interviews in order to recruit outstanding talents more accurately and efficiently.
Among the students who participated in the application, Liang Yifan, a master student of the 2022 class of the MOF, who is currently doing a long-term internship at the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Shanghai Flight Academy, and other students rushed back to campus and actively participated in the job fair. They said that the job fair provided them with valuable employment opportunities, helped them apply for suitable positions according to their conditions, and relieved their employment pressure. As a fresh doctoral graduate, Xiao Yingchao, a doctoral student of the 2020 class, has a clearer understanding of the corporate culture and career development path of key military units through this valuable opportunity, and has clarified his career positioning. This event further deepened the students' enthusiasm for aerospace careers, and they look forward to shining in the industry in the future.
